Quick look:
- Having completed the introductory phase, GWM Malaysia is now moving forward to grow its business with new models and new technologies.
- At the motorshow, the brand will show two new models alongside its wide range of electrified models.
At the upcoming KL International Mobility Show 2026 (June 12 – 21), GWM Malaysia will again have a strong presence and this time, it is no longer just introducing itself as before. Although GWM was in Malaysia some 15 years earlier, its second entry in 2023 has seen a much stronger and more committed effort. This time, it is directly involved in its business activities with its own subsidiary for long-term growth.
‘For Every User, For Every Journey’
For the motorshow, GWM Malaysia will present the brand’s diverse multi-brand and multi-powertrain ecosystem under a unified theme of ‘For Every User, For Every Journey‘. This focusses on addressing varied customer requirements and lifestyle applications.

Two new models
In addition to displaying the current models in showrooms, GWM Malaysia will use the event to preview two upcoming electrified models, outlining its technical blueprint and product orientation for the local market moving forward. It is also assembling some models locally, for the Malaysian market as well as for export.
“KLIMS serves as a platform for us to deepen our connection with Malaysians on a national scale. In Malaysia, mobility needs are evolving quickly, from compact city driving to more diverse lifestyle and family-oriented usage. Our vision is to demonstrate how GWM’s intelligent mobility ecosystem is designed to support the evolving mobility needs of Malaysians, from daily commuting to family journeys and lifestyle adventures,” added Cui Anqi, Managing Director of GWM Malaysia.
Visitors are invited to experience GWM’s models by taking test-drives at the MITEC venue. There will also be lucky draw opportunities, exclusive booking rewards, and activities for the growing GWM owner community throughout the event.
