Since beginning operations as the distributor of BYD EVs at the end of 2022, BYD Sime Motors has strived to provide the best aftersales services to BYD owners throughout the country. It has quickly opened outlets in strategic locations and ensured that access to aftersales services is made as convenience as possible.
Building upon this foundational commitment, the company (part of Sime Motors) has introduced a digital service booking system for vehicle owners in Malaysia. This system leverages on the Sime Motors OneGo App to streamline the aftersales process. It can be downloaded free from the App Store of Google Play.
Direct from the app
Using the system, owners no longer need to make calls to service advisors as service and repair appointments can be made directly through the app. They can select their preferred service centre (and even designated service advisor) and then view real-time appointment availability and choose available slots.
Once a slot is booked, they can input vehicle mileage so the appropriate service required can be determined, and include any other requirements needed.
Upon confirmation, the app issues a verification email and owners can integrate the appointment directly into Apple or Google calendars with a single tap. Additional functionalities within the interface include viewing upcoming bookings, adjusting schedules, and reviewing previous service records.

During November and December 2020, BYD Sime Motors is offering a RM50 service discount for appointments booked through the OneGo App. Owners can choose from any of the outlets in the aftersales network which currently has 33 facilities and 16 body and paint centres across the country.
