Malaysia’s largest annual automotive lifestyle and counter-culture showcase is gearing up for its biggest edition yet. Returning to the sprawling venue of the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park, Serdang (MAEPS) on August 1 and 2, 2026, Art of Speed Malaysia (AOS 2026) will take over 452,084 square feet of indoor space and 320 acres of outdoor grounds under the vibrant theme ‘Summer Festival – Kustom Bergaya’.
This year’s event represents marks 15 years since the festival’s inception. According to Festival Director Asep Ahmad Iskandar, the 2026 edition fulfills a long-held vision of delivering a fully integrated, world-class experience that brings automotive culture and live music together into a single weekend.

International icons
Headlining the massive roster of international automotive icons is Wataru Kato of Japan’s world-renowned Liberty Walk, marking a historic first-ever presence for the legendary brand at Art of Speed.

The event will also play host to specialized custom car exhibitions traveling from Bangkok, Thailand and Taiwan to complement the Liberty Walk display. Two-wheel enthusiasts can look forward to seeing legendary Japanese builders Yokomizo Gaku of Hawgholic, who is presenting a highly revered 1945 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead, and Yoshiki Okubo of Vise Clothing, showcasing a masterful 1966 Harley-Davidson Shovelhead.

Show & Shine competition
Inside Hall A, the Show & Shine competition returns with fresh curated segments. These include Chopper Paradise, organized in collaboration with DicE Magazine to display top-tier custom choppers, and Pick-Up Line, an exhibition highlighting highly modified pick-up trucks.
The competition raises the stakes this year, as the Best of Show winners for both the car and motorcycle categories will earn a trip to display their creations at the 34th Annual Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show in Japan this December.

Further driving the competitive spirit is the return of the prestigious AOS Invitational Build-Off. Eight elite local custom motorcycle builders — including Chaos Custom, Valley Machines, Rocketeer Custom Art, Bad Soul Cycle Custom, Mujo Joros, AR Choppers, Fazben Custom, and Sedarah MC — will battle for cash prizes and the chance to have their machine exhibited on the global stage.
Hot Wheels Collectors Convention
Diecast collectors will want to head straight for Hall C, which transforms into a paradise for miniature car enthusiasts. The hall will host the 4th Official Hot Wheels Collectors Convention Malaysia, featuring a dedicated Activation Zone, a swap-meet area, and a special Nissan Skyline GT-R display curated alongside the Malaysia Skyline Owners Group.

This special exhibit commemorates the release of this year’s highly anticipated, officially licensed convention car: a custom Nissan Skyline GT-R V·Spec II (BNR34) featuring authentic Motul and Yokohama decals. Attendees will also have the rare opportunity to meet Ronald Wong, the Lead Product Designer for the Hot Wheels Premium line.

Lifestyle features
Besides the standard exhibits, AOS 2026 is debuting a massive array of lifestyle features. Hall D will house Kulture Kartel for vintage and streetwear fashion, a B-Boy competition, and a rap battle, alongside Gravel Travel, a dedicated section for custom and modified bicycles managed by KL Orbits.
On the entertainment front, the expanded SoundCircus Festival will run concurrently from 3 pm to midnight across 6 stages, featuring performances from iconic acts like Ella x Cokelat, Nadin Amizah, Disagree, Johnny Pandora, and a celebration of 20 years of Hujan. Festival-goers can even experience a first-for-Asia flying fox zipline that soars directly above the main live concert audience.

To top off the weekend, the Kembara Passport activity offers all ticket-holders who complete tasks across 24 corporate partner booths a chance to win a share of RM80,000 in prizes.
Early bird weekend passes are currently available on the official website for RM35, while the event-day door price will be RM40. Children under the age of 12 and disabled cardholders get free admission.
