If you’ve been considering an XPENG X9 fully electric MPV, this June is the best month to get one as XPENG Malaysia is running a ‘MEGA X9 REWARDS’ programme that offers extra benefits to new owners.
Eligible purchasers can enjoy benefits valued up to RM45,000, consisting of a direct RM20,000 cash rebate alongside insurance coverage support valued up to RM10,000. Additionally, buyers will receive a complimentary home charging wallbox valued at RM5,000.
For eligible corporations and verified qualified professionals, the program offers separate corporate fleet privileges worth RM10,000.
The rewards package is valid until June 30, 2026 (subject to inventory availability and terms & conditions). It should be noted that this offer is only for X9 units of the 2025 model year which were exempted from duties under the government initiative to encourage switching to EVs.
The 7-seater X9 is the flagship of the XPENG range. Three versions are available, all with front wheel drive only. The drivetrain has an output of 235 kW (315 hp)/450 Nm, with the 84.5 or 101.5 kWh battery giving a claimed range of up to 590 kms. The shortest recharging time is said to be around 20 minutes from 10% to 80% when using a 317-kW DC charging station.
