As for the EcoContact 6Q, this tyre builds on these features with advanced noise reduction technology, ensuring a smoother and quieter drive. The custom tread pattern and Advanced Green Chili 2.0 compound, which adapt to road conditions, further improve rolling resistance and fuel economy. ContiSilent technology
Continental has also incorporated ContiSilent technology into the EcoContact 6 and EcoContact 6Q. This innovative polyurethane foam absorber reduces interior noise by up to 9 dB(A), giving a quieter and more comfortable drive across various road surfaces. With reduced cabin noise, the overall driving experience can be more pleasant and relaxing.
Today, with electrified vehicles, especially fully electric models, quiet performance and low rolling resistance are important in tyres to complement the powertrains. All Continental passenger tyres are also designed for EVs as well and able to withstand the higher torque generated that is typical of electric drivetrains.
