JETOUR T2 all-terrain SUV to be priced around RM178,888

JETOUR Auto Malaysia will soon launch the T2, a premium SUV which was first previewed at the Malaysia Auto Show 2025 in May. Malaysia is among the first markets outside China to get this model and its estimated price is RM178,888.

Built with all-terrain capability
While the T2 is a SUV, it differs from the more popular SUVs and crossovers (like JETOUR’s Dashing and VT9) in that it is more capable over all kinds of terrain. While such vehicles – more associated with the traditional SUVs of earlier years – have been overshadowed by the SUVs which are more for mild off-roading, there is a big market in China and manufacturers give them just as much attention.

The T2 is powered by a 2-litre turbocharged direct-injection petrol engine with an output of 245 ps/375 Nm, flowing to all four wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission with X-Intelligent drive which allows optimised performance on all types of terrain.

Functional cabin
Inside, the T2’s cabin maintains the same functional focus that defines its mechanical engineering. The driver-oriented layout has clear sightlines and intuitive control placement, important when driving off-road, while material selection strikes a balance between premium feel and long-term durability.

A large 15.6-inch infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity sits alongside a 10.25-inch meter cluster, creating a cohesive digital interface. Generous interior space, supportive seating, and ergonomic design make the T2 equally suited for daily commutes and long-distance adventures.

“JETOUR T2 embodies our Travel+ philosophy, which centres on enabling journeys that balance discovery, comfort and confidence. We believe driving is about more than reaching destinations – it’s about the experiences that unfold along the way. The JETOUR T2 brings that perspective to life through robust performance, intelligent systems, and thoughtful design, built for drivers who approach every trip with intention,” said Fu Yong, CEO of JETOUR Auto Malaysia.

About JETOUR
JETOUR (‘jet’ and ‘tour’) may sound like a French brand but it’s actually a Chinese company established in 2018 as part of the Chery Holding Group. While there is some sharing of technologies (eg engines), JETOUR carries out its own product development based on its philosophy and objectives.

The company has been appearing in world markets since 2023 and Malaysia is among its list of 65 countries and regions. Though having the same parent company, JETOUR Auto  Malaysia is not connected to Chery Malaysia, unlike OMODA | JAECOO Malaysia and iCAUR Malaysia. It operates as an entirely separate and independent business in this market. The connections are only at the highest levels in China.

VT9 and Dashing are JETOUR’s first two models in Malaysia and both are assembled locally.

JETOUR Auto Malaysia aims to be a long-term player in the market and already has two models assembled locally. There are already over 15 outlets across Malaysia ready to support owners. The network is expected to expand to more than 30 4S and 3S centres during 2025. These will be in most states, including Sabah and Sarawak.
