Since the 1990s, we have had haze periodically and once again, the air pollution has returned to Malaysia. While modern vehicle air conditioning systems offer a degree of filtration, standard cabin filters inevitably get dirty over time as airborne pollutants, dust, and smoke accumulate, diminishing their effectiveness.
For this reason, manufacturers recommended changing the filters periodically to ensure that cabin air cleanliness is maintained. With the current situation, the filter is likely to become dirty at a faster rate and replacement should be done earlier.
Only privately registered vehicles
Responding to this issue, DENZA Malaysia has introduced the DENZA Care Program which will run from October 1 to November 30, 2026. The program provides for a free replacement of the High-Efficiency AC Cabin Filter in privately-registered DENZA D9 MPVs.
Removing microscopic particles
This filter, which is standard in the ventilation system, can trap fine airborne particulates smaller than PM2.5 (2.5 micrometres – about 30 times smaller than the width of a human hair). These microscopic particles are so small they can travel deep into the lungs and even enter your bloodstream, making them very dangerous air pollutants.
The filter features an electrostatic micro-sieve combined with activated carbon shielding. This design captures micro-particulates, fine dust, and smoke while neutralizing gaseous emissions and burnt-timber odours commonly associated with atmospheric haze.
Integrated into the D9’s climate control software, the filter works in tandem with real-time onboard air monitoring to clean recirculated cabin air shortly after the fully electric powertrain is activated.
Qualified new and existing owners with service maintenance or vehicle purchase dates between January 2026 and June 2026 can obtain the filter at any official DENZA Premium Service Centre by presenting their previous Repair Order or new vehicle registration documentation.
