GAC GS3 EMZOOM Premium gets cosmetic updates, prices unchanged

WTC Automotif (M) Sdn Bhd (WTCA) has updated the GAC GS3 EMZOOM crossover SUV (Premium version only) for 2026. The update gives the front end a new appearance with the ‘Flowing Diamond Star’ front grille which has a more intricate texture.

2-tone finish available
Besides this new grille, the Premium R variant now offers a 2-tone exterior finish featuring a black roof with the 3 primary body colour choices – Graphite Grey, Super Star Silver, and Frost White. For those who prefer not to have the black top, the Asphalt Black remains an option. The Premium R also keeps has an aggressive Aero kit and the switchable sports exhaust system, a unique feature for a vehicle in this price bracket.

The technical specifications are unchanged, with the powertrain being a 177 ps/270 Nm 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine and power going to the front wheels through a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission.

There are also no changes in the cabin with dual screens and a panoramic sunroof. The generous list of standard equipment includes Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Fully Automatic Parking Assist.

Prices unchanged
Pricing for the latest model, assembled in Malaysia, is maintained at RM116,800 for the Exclusive version and RM126,800 for the Premium R. WTCA is also offering rebates of up to RM18,500 for a limited period.
