Special editions of Volkswagen models at Malaysia Auto Show

Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) will present special editions of its Golf GTI, Arteon and Tiguan at the Malaysia Auto Show 2025 (May 9 – 15) which will be held at MAEPS in Serdang, outside Kuala Lumpur.

The special edition for the Golf GTI will be the Black Edition, while the Arteon R-Line, Tiguan Allspace Elegance and Tiguan Allspace R-Line will be accessorized to become a special edition called the Wolfsburg Edition (honouring the home city of Volkswagen).

The price of the Golf GTI Black Edition – inclusive of Volkswagen Assurance Package – is RM258,990. For the Wolfsburg Edition models – inclusive of the Volkswagen Assurance Package – the recommended retail prices are RM210,990 for the Tiguan Allspace Elegance, RM263,990 for the Tiguan Allspace R-Line, and RM304,990 for the Arteon R-Line. Rebates of RM15,000 to RM40,000m depending on the model, are offered as introduction promotions.

Golf GTI Black Edition
The GTI Black Edition (which is assembled locally) will be available in two exterior finishes – Deep Black or Kings Red. To identify this exclusive edition, there are ‘BLACK’ logos on B-pillars, with sleek Black front lip, rear diffuser, side skirting and side mirrors. Volkswagen Tint (JPJ-compliant) is also installed as standard.

The exclusive Volkswagen accessories that come with it include GTI Dynamic Hub Caps (which keep the logo upright at all times, GTI valve caps and 18-inch Black Richmond alloy wheels. Other accessories include Universal Traffic Recorders (front and rear, Black Edition floormats, and Cargo Elements which secure items of different sizes securely to the boot floor.

Each owner will get a Volkswagen keyholder and a Certification of Authenticity in an exclusive Black Edition box.

The Wolfsburg Editions
All three models have iconic embellishments and marks of tribute to Volkswagen’s heritage and craftsmanship. These are the Wolfsburg Crest emblem, VW logo valve caps, and Wolfsburg Edition floormats. Each owner will receive a Volkswagen keyholder and Certificate of Authenticity in an exclusive Wolfsburg Edition box. The Volkswagen Universal Traffic Recorder 2.0 is also provided.

The Arteon R-Line Wolfsburg Edition additionally comes with Door trim with LED illumination for the Volkswagen logo, ‘VW’ Dynamic hub caps, tailgate protective strip, and cargo elements.

Meanwhile, both the Tiguan Allspace Elegance and R-Line Wolfsburg Editions comes load edge protection, a custom-fit Boot Tray, Smart Holder for a tablet as well as a hook which can be attached to the back of the front seats. The Tiguan Allspace Elegance also gets high-quality German-made aluminium sports pedals.

As with all the models sold by authorised Volkswagen dealers in Malaysia, the Volkswagen Assurance Package provides a warranty period of 5 years/unlimited mileage, 7 years free scheduled maintenance, and complimentary roadside assistance during the first 5 years of ownership.
