The 2026 Cayenne has an enhanced equipment list and tech updates, along withe a new colour option.

Malaysia is the only country outside Germany that Porsche assembles its vehicles.
The Porsche Cayenne enters the 2026 model year with a series of updates specifically for the local market. Assembled at the Sime Motors-owned Inokom plant in Kedah, the third generation of Porsche’s SUV focusses on visual presence, with a more comprehensive list of standard equipment.
On the outside, the new wheels are 21-inch RS Spyder wheels which now come as standard. Previously an optional upgrade, the larger wheel diameter fills the arches more and contributes to a more assertive stance on the road.

The change is intended to align the Cayenne more closely with the expectations of the performance SUV segment, where visual impact is a strong draw factor.
To complement the updated wheel package, Porsche Malaysia (represented by Sime Darby Auto Performance) has introduced Arctic Grey as another colour choice. This specific finish, which initially gained prominence on the 718 Cayman GT4 RS before moving to the 911 range, offers a neutral, contemporary look. It provides a more technical alternative to the existing metallic finishes like Carrara White, Chromite Black, and Quartzite Grey (limited units).

Connectivity receives a substantial boost through the extension of Porsche Connect services. Owners of the 2026 model will now have access to digital services for a period of 10 years. This long-term integration allows for sustained use of real-time navigation and remote vehicle management systems via smartphone apps, ensuring the digital infrastructure of the vehicle remains relevant throughout a decade of ownership.
Under the bonnet, the standard Cayenne retains its 3-litre turbocharged V6 engine. This muscular powerplant produces 353 ps/500 Nm, distributed through an all-wheel-drive system. The inclusion of Porsche Active Suspension Management as standard equipment ensures the vehicle can transition between a refined highway ride and more composed handling during spirited driving scenarios.

The interior layout remains centred on the sports-oriented Porsche Driver Experience, which prioritises ergonomic access to essential controls. A 12.6-inch curved digital instrument cluster sits behind the steering wheel, while a 12.3-inch central display manages the Porsche Communication Management system. Physical clutter is reduced while maintaining high levels of legibility for the driver.
Cayenne S E-Hybrid Coupe
For those requiring more efficiency and performance, the Cayenne S E-Hybrid Coupe is also available. The powertrain in this model has the same V6 engine as well as a 130-kW electric, with total system output rated at 519 ps.

The 2026 update also sees a refinement of the standard equipment list specifically for the Malaysian market. Features such as Adaptive Cruise Control, the Sport Chrono Package, and a BOSE Surround Sound System are now included without additional cost. These additions are joined by convenience features like soft-close doors, which are expected for luxury SUVs in this price bracket.

Versatility remains a core attribute of the Cayenne’s interior packaging. The rear luggage compartment provides a standard volume of 772 litres, expandable to 1,708. The 40:20:40 split-folding configuration allows for various combinations of passenger and cargo arrangements.
A more exclusive appearance
An optional Exclusive Manufaktur Package is available for those seeking a more individualised appearance. This package replaces several exterior plastic components with body-coloured parts, including the Sport Design front and rear aprons and side skirts. It also includes tinted LED taillights and ‘PORSCHE’ logo courtesy lights that project onto the ground when the doors are opened.

Interior refinements with the package include a leather-wrapped centre console armrest embossed with the Porsche Crest. The key is also finished in the exterior colour of the car, adding a further touch of exclusivity.

Prices for the latest Cayenne start at RM609,000, while the more powerful S E-Hybrid Coupe is priced from RM739,000.
