Special service packages for older Proton models

Quick look

  • Exclusive offer for selected models (2018–2021) that haven’t been serviced at an authorized Proton service centre for over 12 months.

  • Service packages start from RM120 (RM216 for X-series models).

It’s important to have your car maintained regularly – for driving enjoyment, maximum fuel efficiency and safety. While there are many workshops that offer maintenance services, the people who know your car best are the ones at the authorised service centres of your car’s brand. These are the people who are trained specifically to look after your car, and have the diagnostic equipment and special tools for maintenance.

When your car is new, you would usually go to the service centre at specified intervals for service. This is actually a requirement for the vehicle warranty. After the warranty ends, many owners may stop going to the service centres for various reasons. Some may prefer an independent workshop that is more convenience for them, or they just want to save some money.

But it is still best to bring your car to an authorised service centre because they have the expertise and also replacement parts that you can be assured are genuine. Even if your car is an older model, you can still get the aftersales support.

Nationwide service campaign
PROTON is having a nationwide service campaign running from March 30 to June 30, 2026 specially for selected models between January 2018 and January 2021 that no longer have a warranty and have not been regularly serviced (servicing records lapsed for more than 12 months).

Under this campaign, owners are offered a basic service package that includes engine oil replacement and oil filter, with labour charges include. Additionally, there is also a complimentary 40-point safety inspection covering key areas such as brakes, tyres and battery condition.

Proton Exora and Persona (below) are among the models eligible for the service package.

The cost of the package for the Persona, Iriz, Exora and Saga models is RM120 and includes semi-synthetic engine oil, while the package for X-series models is from RM216.

190 authorised service centres
The offer is available at 190 authorised Proton service outlets nationwide, all of which have professionally trained technicians and service advisors. Strategically located parts centres ensure that needed parts are quickly sent to the service centres if they do not have it in stock.

Tell Proton…
This year, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen service quality, PROTON introduced a new initiative known as the Service Experience QR (SEQR). This allows customers to share feedback on their service experience through a quick digital form available at service centres nationwide. The feedback provides valuable insights to support continuous improvements in service quality.

Other aftersales services
The service centres also offer several other initiatives to make vehicle maintenance more efficient and convenient for owners. These include Fast Service, which allows basic servicing to be completed within 90 minutes from vehicle check-in to key handover, as well as the ProCare Smart Plan that provides maintenance packages with flexible payment options.

In addition, there are comprehensive Body & Paint services for professional repair and repainting services and the Proton Insurance Programme (PIP) to support owners’ insurance needs. They can also access 24-hour roadside assistance through Proton’s Helpline at 1-800-888-8398, providing assistance anytime and anywhere.
