To be launched on January 22, the new Volvo ES90 will be among the first new models of 2026. Those who want to be the first to own one should let an authorised Volvo dealership or Volvo Car Malaysia know (via their online channel).
The first 100 buyers who register their interest before March 31, 2026 will be entitled to a 2% incentive on the price of the fully electric ES90.
The ES90, which will be assembled locally, will introduce Volvo’s most technologically advanced platform, featuring an 800V architecture designed for efficiency, performance, and usability. With support for charging speeds of up to 350 kW, it will be possible to recharge the battery from 10% to 80% within 22 mutes or add 300 kms of range in 10 minutes, it is claimed. This speed, however, will only be possible when recharging at the maximum DC power supply.
With a full battery, a range of up to 651 kms is claimed. Real-world energy consumption will depend on driving conditions and driving style. If you constantly use all 333 ps/480 Nm from the powertrain, then the range will be affected accordingly.
