Mercedes-Benz Malaysia today announced the new C 200 AMG Line as the latest addition to the locally-assembled C-Class range. Priced from RM292,888 (excluding insurance), the C 200 AMG Line comes with AMG Line Exterior for a sportier silhouette. This is defined by the AMG front apron with large air inlets, a diffuser-look rear apron, a radiator shell with the signature Mercedes‑Benz pattern, an exhaust system with 2 visible tailpipe trims, and 19-inch AMG multi-spoke light-alloy wheels.
The upgraded brake system features enlarged, perforated discs on the front axle for stronger stopping power with consistent performance, even under repeated heavy use. The perforation, complemented by ‘Mercedes‑Benz’ lettering, reinforces the vehicle’s sporty character.
The cabin ambience is further elevated with an AMG Line interior. The multifunction sports steering wheel, wrapped in nappa leather, is flattened at the base and perforated in the grip area. The AMG sports pedal system is also installed and this is in brushed stainless steel. Black velour floor mats with ‘AMG’ lettering complement the interior design.
Advanced technology features include the Parking Package with 360° view generated by 4 cameras around the car. There’s also a simulated 3D view from above which is useful when parking. A USB Package Plus provides six USB-C ports and two 12 V sockets, all supporting fast charging.
Under the bonnet, the electrified powertrain uses a 1.5-litre engine with 204 ps/300 Nm output, supplemented by an electric motor generating an addition 17 kW (23 ps)/200 Nm.
Pre-bookings can now be made and deliveries from the plant in Pekan, Pahang are set to commence from October 2025.
