Lower-priced smart #1 Pro now available for delivery

The smart #1 range of EVs in Malaysia has three versions – Pro, Premium and BRABUS – but since the launch in November, only the #1 Premium and BRABUS have been delivered to customers. From today onwards, the #1 Pro is also available and deliveries are underway to those who ordered it.

49 kWh battery pack instead of 66 kWh
The #1 Pro is the lowest-priced version at RM189,000 (without insurance). It comes with a 49 kWh battery pack (which can be fully charged within 30 minutes when using 130 kW DC supply) with a claimed range of 315 kms. Part of the reason for the lower cost is the battery pack which is LFP instead nickel manganese cobalt unit and has 26% less capacity than the other two versions.

Same performance as #1 Premium
The performance is the same as the #1 Premium as the #1 Pro has the same rear-mounted  powertrain with a 200 kW/343 Nm output driving the rear wheels. It would therefore be able to reach 100 km/h in the claimed  6.7 seconds and hit a maximum speed of 180 km/h.

As a premium product, the #1 Pro comes with a comprehensive range of features which include automatic 2-zone climate control, seat ventilation and a Panoramic Halo Roof. It also has V2L (Vehicle to Load) technology which allows the energy from the battery pack to be used to power external devices or equipment.

Customers can choose from 5 exterior colours – Green, Quantum Blue, Digital White, Cyber Silver and Laser Red, but only one colour theme – After Dark – is available for the interior.
