LEKAS (Lebuhraya Kajang–Seremban Sdn Bhd), the concessionaire for the LEKAS Highway (E21) connecting Kajang and Seremban informs motorists that the highway will be temporarily closed from 5 pm this Saturday October 11 to 4 am on Sunday October 12. The closure is to facilitate the company’s annual night cycling event which will be the 10th edition as Malaysia’s premier night cycling event.
At least 9 interchanges involving 20 entry and exit points will be closed throughout the event to ensure a smooth and safe experience for all cyclists. The closure will cover the stretch from the Kajang Selatan Interchange to the Paroi Junction.
Northbound and southbound travellers from Kuala Lumpur, Cheras, Kajang, Seremban, Senawang, and Kuala Pilah are advised to use Federal Route 1 (the old road) or the PLUS North–South expressway.
