iCAUR Malaysia prepares aftersales support before launch

As iCAUR, a new automotive brand (part of the Chery Group portfolio), prepares to enter the Malaysian market, it is doing what a responsible car company would do and that is to ensure that the aftersales support is in place. It would cause new owners inconvenience if they start using the car and require parts of service and it’s not ready… even worse if their vehicle meeds to be repaired and parts are not available.

iCAUR made its debut in May at the 2025 Malaysia Auto Show.

Towards this end, iCAUR Malaysia established its Components Hub, a facility shared with OMODA | JAECOO Malaysia and managed by Chery Corporate Malaysia. The 88,000 sq.ft warehouse, located in the Shah Alam HICOM Industrial Estate in Selangor, has been operating since March 2025 and has steadily built up its stocks of spare parts to number over 10,000.

“The spirit of iCAUR’s ‘Born to Play’ philosophy means we are also born ready. By steadily building up our portfolio of parts and components — and backed by a global automotive player with robust supply chains — iCAUR Malaysia is poised to grow alongside our network while strengthening the premium after-sales service standards that our discerning customers expect,” said iCAUR Malaysia Vice-President, Emily Lek.

“The centrally located Chery Corporate Malaysia warehouse is pivotal in supporting iCAUR’s growing dealership network, which will soon include no fewer than 16 dealer partners nationwide, with further expansions planned in 2026,” Ms. Lek added.

Prioritising readiness, iCAUR Malaysia continues to steadily build its supply chain competencies and parts inventory, well in advance of the product launch which will take place in the third quarter of this year, she said.
