Atlantis Automobili appointed as Maserati distributor for Malaysia

Following the end of Naza Italia’s 16-year representation of the Maserati brand in Malaysia at the end of 2025, Atlantis Automobili Sdn. Bhd. has been officially appointed (since May 19) as the importer and distributor for premium Italian brand.

Atlantis Automobili, an associate company of Atlantis Motor Group, will manage local sales, aftersales support, customer relations, and network operations for the 112-year old brand which is part of the Stellantis Group.

Ensuring continuity for owners
The immediate focus will be on maintaining uninterrupted service and ownership continuity for owners. To support vehicles already on the road during the ongoing transition, interim operations have been established.

Sales and general inquiries are currently stationed at Rhapsody Square along Jalan Tun Razak in Kuala Lumpur, while interim aftersales and service operations are operating out of the Temasya Industrial Park in Shah Alam, Selangor.

“As we begin this exciting new chapter for Maserati in Malaysia, our foremost commitment is to our customers and owners,” said Dato’ Douglas Cheng Heng Lee, Executive Director of Atlantis Automobili Sdn. Bhd.

He said the company is preparing investments in new facilities and customer initiatives, with additional announcements regarding infrastructure and future model introductions planned for a later date.

“Maserati is a brand built on heritage, craftsmanship and passion, and we fully recognise the responsibility that comes with representing such an iconic marque. Our immediate focus is to ensure a seamless ownership experience while strengthening the foundations that support the brand in Malaysia for the long term,” he said.

It’s not surprising that Atlantis Automobili has been appointed to handle the brand as Dato’ Douglas Cheng also holds the same position in DLSB Partners which was appointed to handle the Alfa Romeo brand (also in the Stellantis Group) last year.

Growing brand in region
Julie Taieb-Doutriaux, Head of Maserati APAC, highlighted Malaysia’s importance within the brand’s regional network, confirming that the appointment aims to elevate service standards and support growth across the local market.

“As we continue to strengthen Maserati’s presence across the region, we are focused not only on growing the brand, but also on delivering an ownership experience that reflects the craftsmanship, innovation and Italian luxury that have defined Maserati for more than a century. With Atlantis Automobili’s proven automotive expertise and customer-centric approach, we are confident they will further elevate the Maserati experience for both existing and future owners in Malaysia,” she said.
