Proton joins in the East Malaysia Day celebration this year with its 2026 East Malaysia Day Campaign. The month-long aftersales initiative rewards owners for their loyalty while ensuring their vehicles remain safe and reliable on the road.
Running from July 8 until August 7, 2026, the campaign is for all Proton owners, spanning the older PIES (Persona, Iriz, Exora, Saga) models to the newer X Series and S Series crossover SUVs. Owners can obtain the benefits at all authorised Proton service centres in Sabah and Sarawak, including 2S outlets.
Free safety inspection
Owners visiting the service centres will receive a complimentary 40-point Safety Inspection. During the inspection, trained technicians will check key components such as the brakes, tyres, battery, suspension, and fluid levels to ensure the vehicles are in optimal condition for both daily commutes and longer journeys.
Additionally, customers who purchase a genuine Proton wiper set during the campaign period will receive an exclusive Proton Neck Pillow (available while stocks last).

Regular servicing is important
He added that routine servicing at authorised outlets using genuine parts engineered specifically for Proton vehicles is essential for maintaining performance, protecting warranty coverage, and ensuring overall road safety. “Our authorised service centres are equipped with trained technicians and genuine Proton parts, ensuring every vehicle receives the highest standard of care,” he said.
Proton’s service network in East Malaysia currently has 30 authorised outlets, with 12 in Sabah and 18 in Sarawak. Proton owners in Sabah and Sarawak are encouraged to visit their nearest authorised service centre before August 7 to take advantage of the complimentary safety check and exclusive rewards.
