EON & Sahabat Autofest is on from today

Quick look:

• The latest models from many different brands in the EON portfolio will be available for viewing, test-drives and purchase at the Autofest, with immediate loan approval and vehicle delivery possible (terms and conditions apply).

The EON & Sahabat Autofest is back again for its third edition, having started in 2024 during the 40^th anniversary of Edaran Otomobil Nasional which had originally been established to handle domestic marketing and sales of the national brand, Proton.

This year’s event, which starts today and will be on until May 10 (Sunday) will again see a very wide range of models from the brands that EON is associated with – Proton, Proton e.MAS, Mitsubishi Motors, Audi, Volkswagen, Isuzu, Hyundai and smart. The models available include EVs and PHEVs as well as light commercial vehicles.

“By bringing vehicle brands, financing, trade-in, mobility and aftersales solutions
together under one roof, we want to assist customers in making the move from
consideration to ownership with greater clarity, confidence and convenience,”
said EON’s CEO, Akkbar Danial.

He added that the theme “This is your sign, Say Yes” reflects EON’s intent to fully
support Malaysians who are making their next mobility decision, whether
entering vehicle ownership for the first time, upgrading, or transitioning to
electrified models.

Reward for a test-drive
Test-drives will be available and just taking one could get you an instant reward. A Proton e.MAS 7 and Modenas Ninja 250 are among the lucky draw prizes for registered visitors and buyers.

As before, visitors to the EON & Sahabat Autofest can expect money-saving offers and special deals as well as interest rates as low as 0.77% (for selected new models). There’s also a free extended warranty program, along with free personal accident coverage for buyers.

Besides low deposits, same-day loan approval and vehicle handover are also possible (subject to terms and conditions). For those who prefer used cars, there will also be live bidding sessions.

New car rental brand to be launched
In conjunction with this year’s event, EON will also be launching the new Budget rental car brand in Malaysia. As the sister brand of the global car rental company Avis, Budget will expand EON’s mobility portfolio further by offering a more accessible, flexible and budget-friendly rental solution.

The event will be held at the EON headquarters in Glenmarie, Shah Alam, Selangor (Friday and Sunday from 11 am to 7 pm; Saturday from 11 am to 10 pm. Parking spaces are available at the venue and there’s also a shuttle service from selected pick-up points nearby.
