JETOUR Malaysia has launched its first owner-based community platform to foster long-term engagement and lifestyle-focused mobility under its ‘Travel+’ philosophy.

Travel+ emphasizes lifestyle mobility over simple transportation, leveraging the insights of the travel industry.
Brands with SUVs that allow owners to motor off the highways usually have activities which promote an active lifestyle. In some cases, there’s even a club set up by the car company for owners to come together as a community.
Travel+ philosophy
JETOUR Auto Malaysia (JTMY) has formed the JETOUR Malaysia Club, a dedicated community initiative designed to integrate its ‘Travel+’ philosophy. This philosophy leverages the insights of the travel industry and the capabilities of the auto industry to make cars that understand travel needs best.

The establishment of the club provides a formal platform for vehicle owners to share technical insights and participate in brand-led activities. This community-centric approach is intended to extend the relationship between the brand and its users well beyond the initial delivery of the vehicle, emphasizing lifestyle mobility over simple transportation. Rather than focusing solely on just selling vehicles, JTMY aims to foster long-term engagement between JETOUR and its customers.
The club was introduced recently during the brand’s first-ever owner gathering which featured a convoy of Dashing and VT9 crossover SUVs traveling from Bamboo Hills in Kuala Lumpur to Resorts World Awana in Genting Highlands on the Selangor/Pahang border.

Preview of T2
A significant portion of the event was dedicated to an exclusive preview of the upcoming T2 SUV. Club members had a chance to experience the off-road capable vehicle. The event also provided JTMY with useful feedback which will help it make the T2 suitable for Malaysian lifestyles.

JETOUR 101 Car Clinic
In addition to the driving experience, there was also a technical workshop, the JETOUR 101 Car Clinic. This session was designed to improve ownership literacy by providing hands-on instruction on essential vehicle maintenance. Participants were taught how to interpret instrument cluster warning indicators and how to manually monitor critical fluid levels, including engine oil, brake fluid, and coolant, along with basic tyre condition assessments.
The workshop was intended to encourage more responsible vehicle ownership. By educating users on the fundamental mechanics of their vehicles, the initiative aims to reduce common maintenance oversights and improve overall road safety. This educational component is a core part of the brand’s broader strategy to support its growing user base through informed self-sufficiency.

Connected and confident owner community
Fu Yong, CEO of JETOUR Malaysia, explained that the inaugural event was a practical application of the brand’s regional strategy. “This inaugural owner event reflects how we are bringing our Travel+ strategy to life and our commitment to elevating the ownership journey in Malaysia. We believe that customer engagement does not end at the point of purchase. Through the JETOUR Malaysia Club, educational initiatives such as our JETOUR 101 Car Clinic, and the continued expansion of our support network, we are cultivating a connected and confident owner community while strengthening our aftersales foundation.”

He indicated that the company’s focus remains on the entire ownership lifecycle, suggesting that consumer engagement should persist through various educational and community-building efforts. This approach is intended to build a more confident driver community while simultaneously strengthening the brand’s underlying aftersales infrastructure.

On the subject of aftersales, to support the expanding community of owners, JTMY retail and service network now has 31 authorized centres across Malaysia, including Sabah and Sarawak.
