Although BYD has had a presence in Malaysia for the past 10 years, it is only since the end of 2022 that the Chinese brand of the world’s largest producer of electrified vehicles became widely known among Malaysians. That was when BYD and Sime Motors became business partners to offer electric vehicles in the market.

Over the past 3 years, the BYD network has been growing to ensure that customers have access to full sales and aftersales support throughout Malaysia. To date, there are 36 outlets nationwide and the largest one is operated by Wing Hin Ventures Sdn Bhd.

Located in the Balakong area of Greater Kuala Lumpur, the 3S (sales service and spare parts) centre is a 3-storey facility with 2 floors of showroom area and an integrated service centre with 10 bays.
