Toyota showcases future of mobility at KLIMS 2026

At KLIMS 2026, Toyota is showcasing concept mobility, electrified choices and experiential displays that reflect the automaker’s belief that mobility should be shaped around people and the different ways they move through life.

Visitors to the brand’s booth will be able to view the latest hybrid electric models available in Malaysia as well as the high-performance side represented by the GR brand. The displays demonstrate the Multi Pathway approach that aims to provide mobility to everyone rather than offering only a single solution towards a carbon-neutral future.

At the heart of the showcase are 3 concept models that present different expressions of Toyota’s thinking on the future of mobility. They show how Toyota is exploring mobility that is more personal, more inclusive and more useful across different needs, communities and stages of life.

Corolla Concept
The Corolla Concept offers visitors a look at how a familiar nameplate can continue to evolve as times change. The Corolla has long been part of everyday mobility around the world since 1966, adapting to different roads, customers and markets.

The concept model displayed gives a glimpse of what a future Corolla sedan could look like in terms of design, packaging and powertrain possibilities. While the next generation of the Corolla may not look exactly the same, there will be styling ideas and features which may be adopted if they are functional and practical.

IMV Origin
IMV relates to a massive project in the mid-2000s which saw the creation of a family of vehicles that can support work, local enterprise and daily resilience, particularly where mobility plays a direct role in livelihoods. These are the Hilux, Innova and Innova.

With the IMV Origin, the discussion is expanded from personal mobility to mobility as a tool for communities. Its simple and adaptable nature speaks to the idea that future mobility must not only be advanced, but also useful, repairable and responsive to real-world needs.

Toyota Kids mobi
Although the age when a person can legally operate a car starts at 17 in Malaysia, the need for mobility starts much earlier. To explore mobility for children, the Kids mobi concept shows how safe and secure AI personal mobility may support independence, confidence and growth for younger users. It also reflects Toyota’s broader belief that Mobility for All must consider people whose needs are not always addressed by conventional vehicles.

Visit the Toyota booth at KLIMS and immerse yourself in the world of Toyota and mobility for today and tomorrow. The motorshow is on until June 21, 2026.
