Most powerful smart too
The BRABUS version is the most powerful smart EV to date, its dual-motor powertrain delivering up to 475 kW (646 ps) and 710 Nm of torque to send it from standstill to 100 km/h in a claimed 3.8 seconds (with Launch Control activated). Top speed is said to be 210 km/h.
Fitted with the same 100 kWh battery pack as the standard #5, the range is claimed to be up to 540 kms. The platform uses a 800V electrical system which allows fast-charging with up to 400 kW DC supply. At maximum charging level, the battery pack can be recharged from 10% to 80% within 18 minutes.
High-performance character
Visually, the #5 gets the same sort of aesthetic treatment to distinguish it as a more powerful variant. Besides BRABUS badges, there are the distinctive 21-inch BRABUS Monoblock Z wheels, red brake calipers and an elegant, sporty exterior concept which emphasize its high-performance character.
Inside, premium materials are used throughout with high-quality microfiber seats having selected DINAMICA accents. The front seats with ventilation and heating functions, along with the heated rear seats, ensure a pleasant and comfortable driving experience. The Alcantara steering wheel with illuminated BRABUS lettering fits comfortably in the hand, while sporty pedals provide a premium experience.
The panoramic halo roof and microfibre roof lining, with 256-colour customizable ambient lighting enhance the exclusive ambience.
The #5 BRABUS offers sophisticated technology, including an infotainment system with two 13-inch OLED displays (one dedicated to the front passenger. For entertainment on the move, the Sennheiser Signature 2000W Sound System and 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos provide a superlative soundscape with its 20 high-performance speakers as well as a central raising speaker.
