Proton e.MAS 7 PHEV to be priced from RM110,000, bookings accepted now

The upcoming Proton e.MAS 7 PHEV will have a price between RM110,000 and RM130,000, PRO-NET announced this evening. Bookings for the model, to be launched next month, are also open from tonight and with just RM99, your name can be listed for an e.MAS 7 PHEV and the first 5,000 owners will get a RM500 rebate.

PRO-NET won’t allow us to show you pictures of the interior yet (until 10 pm) but since the event was livestreamed to the world, we can show you images from the event.

In the meantime, we can also report that the 1,000-km challenge which took place yesterday and today was successfully completed. Staff from PRO-NET were on board and answered questions from viewers throughout the day.

The e.MAS 7 PHEV travelled from Penang to Johor Bahru and back to the PROTON head office in Selangor, covering 1,104.5 kms. And it did the drive (at legal highway speeds) without refuelling or recharging.

In fact, there was even enough for another 189 kms of travel left. Of course, what each owner can get will vary depending on driving style and driving conditions, but the potential of the SUV has been demonstrated in real-world driving.
