Proton e.MAS 7 launched in Trinidad & Tobago

The Proton e.MAS 7 EV is now officially on sale in the Caribbean islands of Trinidad and Tobago. It is the second international market for the model, Proton’s first EV, and comes 3 months after its international debut in Nepal.

The launch event was held at the capital city of Port of Spain by ANSA Motors, Proton’s distributor since 2013. Building on the entry of the X50 and X90 into the market last year, the addition of this new model reinforces Proton’s continuous efforts in global expansion.

To date, 481 units of Proton vehicles have been exported to the country, which has a population of approximately 1.4 million annual vehicle sales of around 12,000 units over the past 2 years.

Launched in Malaysia in December 2024, the e.MAS 7 is already the Malaysian automaker’s third most popular export model, behind the Saga and X50.
