With the aim of making it easier for more Malaysians acquire new cars, Perodua and Maybank Islamic Berhad are partnering to provide the country’s first Shariah-compliant agility financing plan – the Perodua Flexiplan – powered by Maybank Islamic myimpact Drive Financing-i.
A first for both companies, this financial plan offers Perodua buyers a highly competitive Murabahah Vehicle Term Financing deal which leads to a more affordable monthly payment over an initial 5-year term. More importantly, there is also a provision for Perodua to buy back the vehicle at a competitive price compared to market value if the owner purchases another new Perodua model (terms and conditions apply).

At year 5 of the plan, the owner can trade-in their current Perodua vehicle for a new one, with the secured residual value used to offset the downpayment and refreshing the 5-year term. This provides flexibility to the owner who can decide to trade-in freely to a new model or keep the current vehicle with a revised payment plan.
Alternatively, customers can also choose to retain the vehicle by settling the outstanding balance or extending the financing for up to 4 more years under a revised payment plan.
