New colour for Proton e.MAS 7 PHEV

PRO-NET, Proton’s New Energy Vehicle subsidiary, has announced the addition of a new body colour for the Proton e.MAS 7 PHEV. Joining the existing 5 colours (Aquamarine Blue, Lithium White, Mercury Silver, Galena Grey and Obsidian Black) is Emerald Green.

“We have seen strong interest from Malaysians in the Proton e.MAS 7 PHEV, and we are thrilled to introduce another colour to the line-up with Emerald Green. This addition reflects our commitment to giving customers more choice, while complementing the model’s modern design and electrified character,” said Salawati Yusoff, Chief Branding Officer of PRO-NET.

The new colour, which is a permanent addition, is available at no extra charge. Depending on the exterior colour, the interior is either Onyx Black or Alabaster White.

The e.MAS 7 PHEV is available in 3 versions – Prime, Premium and premium Plus – priced from RM109,800 to RM129,800. Having been launched earlier this year, there is still a launch package available with benefits such as a free home charger, 5 years of data for the infotainment system, and a trade-in rebate worth RM1,000 (via CARSOME). If you have a non-roadworthy vehicle that can be deregistered, there’s another RM4,000 reduction on the SUV price.

With its dual power drivetrain, the e.MAS 7 PHEV makes even more sense in these times of rising fuel costs. It’s been proven to go more than 1,000 kms on a full tank without recharging, and fuel consumption can be as good as 23 kms/litre.
