Estimated price of Proton e.MAS 5 announced

If you have already been thinking of being among the first to own the next Proton EV, you can now place a booking for RM99 and 700 Malaysians did so within the first 30 minutes of the announcement tonight.

The estimated price announcement was made during a livestream broadcast on Proton e.MAS social media channels. PRO-NET estimates there was an online audience of almost 573,000.

The first 5,000 customers who successfully register their e.MAS 5 will receive a limited-edition Proton e.MAS Touch ‘n Go NFC Card preloaded with RM100 along with an additional RM500 rebate on the booking fee.

The public can register interest through the official Proton e.MAS website, or make a booking directly at any of the 42 Proton e.MAS dealerships nationwide. Deliveries will begin in November this year when the first units are completed at the plant in Tg. Malim, Perak.
