Motorists heading north on the PLUS North-South Expressway in Johor should take note that a section of the Smart Lane between Kulai and Sedenak will be closed from Monday, July 21, 2025 until further notice. The closed section will be between KM26.7 to KM33.7 but the Smart Lane between KM19.0 to KM26.7 (between Senai and Kulai) will continue to be available.
The closure is necessary to facilitate lane widening works in the area as part of ongoing efforts to enhance highway infrastructure. During the construction period, the existing 2 lanes along the affected stretch will remain open to maintain traffic flow and minimise disruption to highway users.
Highway users are advised to follow all traffic signages and instructions issued by PLUS personnel when passing through the construction zone.
