Following the recent introduction of the updated City Sedan, Honda Malaysia is now officially accepting orders for the updated City Hatchback.
As this is a bodystyle variant of the sedan, expect similar changes in exterior styling, cabin updates, and an expanded array of active safety and driver assistance features across the range.
ULTRA seat
The Hatchback cabin differs from the sedan’s in versatility. While the rear seat in the sedan is fixed, the one in the Hatchback can be folded up. This is Honda’s ULTRA seat layout which first appeared in the first generation of the Jazz over 20 years ago.
There are four configurations — Utility, Long, Tall, and Refresh. In Tall configuration, the height from floor to ceiling is increased slightly so tall objects can be carried.
ICE and hybrid electric powertrains
Powertrain choices are also similar to the sedan, with combustion engine-only and the e:HEV hybrid electric powertrain. For the e:HEV version, Honda Malaysia offers a separate 10-year battery and component warranty with unlimited mileage.
As announced earlier, all new Honda models (sold by authorised Honda dealers) registered from September 1, 2026 are covered by an extended 8-year warranty package with unlimited mileage.
