With the pending launch of the all-new C-segment crossover model, the OMODA C7, alongside its plug-in hybrid electric derivative, the OMODA C7 PHEV, OMODA & JAECOO Malaysia is accepting bookings from those who want to be early owners. Indicative prices for the C7 and C7 PHEV are RM160,000 and RM180,000, respectively.
Super Hybrid System
The C7 has a 1.6-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, while the C7 PHEV comes with a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission and the brand’s Super Hybrid System.
The SUV models use OMODA’s ‘Art in Motion’ design language which has key feature such as a sharp shark-nose front fascia, an illuminated hexagonal front grille motif, a full-LED lighting signature, and aerodynamic body proportions.
Convenience and refinement
Inside, the cabin is fitted with a 15.6-inch 2.5K resolution central infotainment touchscreen and an 8.88-inch digital instrument display. Convenience and refinement features include ventilated power-adjustable front seats, double-glazed front side windows, and a 50W wireless smartphone charger that stays cool with ventilation.
Boot capacity is 614 litres with the rear seats in use, expanding to 1,371 litres when the both backrests are folded. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) keep the driver aware of traffic conditions and also help to avoid accidents.
