Only the 2026 Zeekr 7x is affected; the prices of the 009 and X models remain duty-free for the remaining 2025 stocks.
ZEEKR Malaysia has announced new pricing for the 2026 stock of its Zeekr 7X premium SUV, following the expiration of government tax exemptions for imported CBU (completely built-up) EVs on December 31, 2025. To remain competitive in a shifting market, the brand has made a minimal price increase capped at 1.8% across the line-up.
The new entry point for the RWD Standard variant is now RM182,800 (up 1.7%), while the RWD Long Range is priced at RM193,800 (up 1.6%). The flagship AWD Performance variant sees the maximum adjustment, with its new price set at RM230,800 (up 1.8%).

Increases limited
Despite the removal of significant excise duty and import tax exemptions, these adjustments are notably lower than the double-digit price hikes industry analysts had predicted for the broader EV market in 2026. ZEEKR Malaysia emphasized that this revision is a strategic move to absorb rising costs while ensuring the 7X remains an accessible luxury option for Malaysians.

By keeping the 7X price adjustment below 2%, ZEEKR aims to maintain its growth momentum in Malaysia’s premium segment even as the market faces a cooling period due to evolving regulatory conditions and the transition toward locally assembled models.
2025 stocks still available
This updated structure applies specifically to the 2026 7X stock; pricing for the X and 009 remains unchanged for the time being. The company has not revealed how many units are left of the 2025 stocks so if you want to save money, head to the nearest ZEEKR showroom and book one today.
