iCAUR is a young automotive brand in the world, having come into existence just this year in China (where it is known as ICAR) and almost immediately heading overseas. Malaysia is one of the earliest markets the youthful all-electric brand (part of Chery’s portfolio) started off in, with the world’s first dedicated iCAUR outlet being opened in Glenmarie, Selangor.
Aiming to grow the network as quickly as possible to reach more customers, iCAUR Malaysia has been appointing dealers around the country and they are beginning to become operational with showrooms being ready for business.
The latest is iCAUR Damansara owned and operated by Carramax Luxe Sdn. Bhd. Located along Jalan Damansara in Kampung Sungai Penchala, Kuala Lumpur, it is the flagship outlet of the brand.

The 40,000 sq. ft. facility has a spacious showroom with display space for up to 8 vehicles, a dedicated delivery bay, and 5 EV charging bays (for customers only). In the customer lounge, visitors will find a fun and relaxing environment – in keeping with the brand image – with 2 Nintendo consoles, wifi and refreshments.

iCAUR Damansara’s service centre has 8 fully equipped service bays and can handle up to 530 EVs a month, It includes a Body and Paint section for accident repairs and restoration, with aluminium body repair equipment and comprehensive tooling.

Owners can also have accessories installed, and there are specialists on hand to do vehicle wrapping and provide Paint Protection Film services.

“Standing tall and bold, iCAUR Damansara is the latest milestone in the iCAUR Malaysia growing network, which now includes 7 dealerships across Malaysia, with more locations planned in Q4 2025,” said Chery Corporate Malaysia’s Executive Vice- President, Men Lin Bo. He added that the brand aims to have 9 full-fledged dealerships and 18 sales points by the end of 2025.
