Proton has formed a strategic collaboration with Continental Malaysia to introduce integrated tyre services. To be available at selected authorised Proton service centres nationwide, this initiative is another example of how the Malaysian automaker is improving customer convenience and providing a seamless ownership experience throughout its network.
With the collaboration, Proton service centres will operate as comprehensive centres providing tyre sales, expert installation, and aftersales support in partnership with Continental Malaysia. By December this year, the company aims to have 60 outlets providing this new service to owners of all its models.
Tyres and tyre services
For a start, customers can purchase and install tyres during their routine visits to the service centres, instead of specially going to a tyre shop just for the purpose. The tyres are competitively priced from RM211 per tyre for the Proton Saga. For individuals seeking greater flexibility, Direct Lending financing is available, allowing them to manage their tyre payments through more affordable monthly instalments.
More importantly, the tyres are from Continental which has a proven reputation for high quality and which are designed for maximum safety and performance. Installation will be done by certified Proton technicians to guarantee consistent, high-quality service and assurance.
Included in the tyre service is Continental Malaysia’s Total Confidence Plan, plus a 1-year road hazard warranty which provides for a one-to-one tyre replacement in the event of unforeseen circumstances (terms and conditions apply).
Comprehensive aftersales service experience
By introducing innovative new products and services, Proton has significantly upgraded the aftersales experience at its authorised service centres. With an industry leading number of 3S/4S outlets nationwide, professionally trained technicians and service advisors as well as strategically located parts centres for quick access to spare parts, it is the company’s aim to be the leading aftersales service provider amongst all auto brands in Malaysia.
