Perodua EV revealed!

You’ve seen the latest pictures of Perodua’s forthcoming EV or you may even have been at the Malaysia Auto Show 2025 and seen it at the Perodua stand. This time, Perodua has only shown half of the car so that the fully electric drivetrain and interior can be seen. The overall silhouette and styling elements are said to be close to what the production car will have and the design must be ‘frozen’ by now as pre-production will start in September or October this year at the new dedicated plant.

But what’s on display is enough for the fertile and active mind of Theottle, master automotive fantasiser, to come up with images of what the Perodua EV could look like when it is unveiled before the end of 2025. Going by his past fantasies, his predictions are quite close to the real thing so take a closer look and then wait for the real thing.

The latest images differ from the ones her did earlier after the emo-II concept was shown at the KL International Mobility Show last year. That was a complete car but some elements were unlikely to be on the production model so his version (shown below) attempted to ‘productionise’ the design.
