Confident of its high quality standards, Continental Tyre Malaysia offers a Tyre Lifetime Warranty for its tyres. Previously, the warranty period was for 5 years but now covers the full operational lifespan of the tyres.
Continental, General Tire, and Viking
The Tyre Lifetime Warranty is for all passenger vehicle, SUV and 4×4 tyres of the Continental, General Tire, and Viking brands. Claims under this warranty will be accepted after inspection by an accredited Continental representative or authorised retailer. Reimbursement will be prorated from the average unused remaining tyre tread depth.
It covers protection against manufacturing defects but damages resulting from external factors – eg cuts by potholes or punctures by sharp objects – are obviously beyond Continental’s control and are excluded from the warranty.

Additional protection
To provide customers with additional confidence, Continental continues to offer protection under its Total Confidence Plan (TCP) Road Hazard Warranty. This provides 12 months of coverage from the date of purchase against unexpected road damages, when purchases are registered via the Conti TCP app.
Continental says customers need not be concerned about tyre manufacturing dates, as the Tyre Lifetime Manufacturing and the TCP Road Hazard Warranties provide comprehensive protection to uphold the tyre’s quality, performance, and reliability over its lifespan.
