First official images of the all-new Proton Saga

An all-new Proton Saga is about to be launched and those who were at the KL Convention Centre last week would have seen it as the Prime Minister personally showed it off to delegates at the ASEAN Summit.

While we can’t show everything and provide full details till tomorrow, PROTON has allowed some images and information to be released today so here’s what we can show and tell now.

The highlights:

• New 1.5-litre i-GT engine with CVT, up to 20.4 kms/litre claimed
• Electric power steering
• Level 1 ADAS with automatic emergency braking and rear collision warning
• PROTON Reinforced Safety Structure with 6 airbags
• 16-inch Integrated Dual Screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

As the official launch draws near, PROTON will have a nationwide promotional campaign that highlight the story behind Malaysia’s first National Car.
