EON Auto Mart Melaka upgraded to Mitsubishi 3S facility

Mitsubishi Motors has been in the Malaysian market since the 1960s, one of the early  Japanese automakers to come to Malaysia and grow its business. Over the decades, the population of Mitsubishi vehicles has grown, and owners around the country have always been assured of aftersales services.

The support continues to this day with a large network of dealerships around the country established by Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM), which began operations in 2005. MMM is currently represented by 63 showrooms and 63 service centres across Malaysia. Additionally, there are 30 authorised Body & Paint facilities in the main cities to provide repair and painting services.

Aiming to constantly improve services, MMM’s dealers periodically upgrade their facilities and one of the latest to do so is EON Auto Mart (EAM). Its branch in Melaka has been upgraded recently to a brand-new 3S (Sales, Service & Spare Parts) facility outlet and has also been relocated.

EAM has been handling the Mitsubishi Motors brand and, since 2005, has opened 9 outlets. The outlet in Melaka was opened in 2009, initially as just a showroom and offering aftersales support in separate location. Now sales and aftersales are on one site, making it convenient for customers and owners to get the full range of services.

The Triton is a popular truck in Melaka.

The new outlet has a built-up area of 7,465 square feet and its design incorporates Mitsubishi Motors’ brand identity, reflecting the global brand message ‘Drive Your Ambition’. The spacious showroom can accommodate up to 6 vehicles and includes a dedicated sales delivery area.

Xpander is the best-selling non-national MPV in Malaysia.

Adjacent to the showroom is a service centre with 10 bays and all the necessary technical equipment for maintaining Mitsubishi vehicles. Needless to say, there are technicians fully trained to service the vehicles. Owners can wait in a comfortable lounge with free wifi and a kids’ play area.

“Melaka is among the top 3 states for Mitsubishi Triton presence, while the Xpander is the No. 1 non-national MPV in Melaka – and also in Malaysia. The relocation of EAM Melaka reflects our shared goal to deliver nothing short of excellence to Mitsubishi Motors owners. We are deeply grateful to our customers in Melaka for their continued trust and support. This new facility represents our commitment to serving them better with enhanced comfort, improved services, and a more rewarding ownership experience,” said Takashi Sakamaki, CEO of MMM.
