If you’re in the Bukit Bintang area of Kuala Lumpur this weekend and pass by The Starhill mall, you’ll see a large box on the roadside. It’s there as part of a teaser campaign by Chery Malaysia for a new model to be launched in the near future.
What’s the model inside? Could be it the Tiggo Cross which was previewed at the Malaysia Auto Show 2025 earlier in the month? Or could it be another new model which has not been revealed?
Passers-by can take a peek through windows on the container for a glimpse of the vehicle inside but its complete shape won’t be visible. Chery Malaysia says the model is ‘aimed at a new generation of drivers — those who crave style, thrill, and individuality’.
Guess correctly and be rewarded
Those who can identify the Chery vehicle model in the container correctly will be rewarded with a special gift. The container will be there until June 3, 2025 and the full public reveal is expected in the coming weeks.
“We want to invite Malaysians from all walks of life to be part of the excitement and anticipation. What’s inside the box is something exciting, something new, and something that signals Chery’s growing presence among the young and dynamic,” said Michael Chew, Vice-President of Chery Malaysia.
