Art of Speed 2025 to be held on July 26/27 at MAEPS

It’s that time of the year again! Art of Speed – Malaysia’s biggest annual Kustom & Counter Culture event – returns to MAEPS (the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park, Serdang) on July 26 and 27, 2025. With event halls over a 452,084 sq. ft. area and another 320 acres of outdoor space, there will be lots of exhibitions and activities for visitors over the weekend.

Art of Speed

Art of Speed (AOS), which started in 2012, has grown to become a huge event that is recognised internationally, drawing the custom community from many countries. This year, the event will have 5 new collaborations:

♦ Art of Speed x Hot Wheels Collection

♦ Art of Speed x FK – introducing a brand new shoe silhouette

♦ Art of Speed x High Cultured, a local streetwear brand

♦ Art of Speed x XOCKS

♦ Art of Speed x MOONEYES – celebrating a decade of excellence

The AOS 2025 guest list will include famous personalities from the customer community such as Shige Suganuma, Hiro ‘Wildman’ Ishii & Hey Murakamii from MOONEYES Japan; Darren McKeag (McKeag Art USA); Mark Hawwa (The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, Australia); Yuichi Yoshizawa (Custom Works Zon, Japan); SixtySick Paintlab, Indonesia (a collective group of 20 pinstripe artists); Masa Sugihara (Luck MC, Japan) and many more.

The World of Wheels exhibition presented by MotorTakaful.com as a Show and Shine special highlight is new to AOS. There’s also a brand new segment called Collectible Alley – a curated vendor section featuring collectible diecast and memorabilia. A cross-border collaboration with the arrival of cars from our northern neighbour and the ‘BEETLE BATTLE’ program by the Volkswagen Beetle Club Indonesia will delight VW fans.

The Car Club Gathering will now fill up the Laman Tiba (outdoor area) and the parking lot next to Hall A. Car club parades are scheduled on Saturday and Sunday at the main boulevard.

The Official Hot Wheels Collectors Convention Malaysia for the third time. The Hot Wheels event will also feature the first left and right facing pair of convention cars in Southeast Asia. At the convention, visitors will be able to experience various activities including Hot Wheels Activation Zone, Hot Wheels Rare and Collectibles Exhibition, Hot Wheels Swap Buy And Sell, Collector sharing sessions, Hot Wheels Custom Competition and many more.

This year, the organisers promise and even greater variety of cars and clubs ranging from classic to contemporary, as well as International entries from other countries. The Best of Show for both cars and bikes will stand to win a trip to The 33rd Annual Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show in December 2025.

In collaboration with NoEqual.co is the Project Car Invitational Showcase, which will feature a curated display of tastefully modified and personalized cars of different genres – National, Japanese as well as Europeans.

Kulture Kartel featuring vintage, thrift, fashion, and streetwear, with even more vendors for 2025. This year features the B-Boy competition, Respect Culture South East Asia Qualification. The winner will qualify for the Respect Culture Taiwan World Finals.

Amirul Azrene from Mekanika will be this year’s host for our annual Kustom & Koffee Talk inside Hall A at 11.00 am on Saturday, together with overseas panelists. The forum will discuss the latest trends in the bike and car industries.

AOS 2025 is introducing a Visitor Passport where guests can visit brand booths and collect stamps when they complete a simple task. Collect all 6 stamps and stand to win a prize at the Wheel of Speed. There are various prizes to be won including trips to events overseas like Japan, Indonesia, Thailand and many more.

For a limited time, AOS is offering an Online Early Bird special for the Weekend Pass (RM35.00) and Sunday Pass (RM40.00) – while stocks last (RM3 will be charged for processing fees). Children below 12 years old and OKU (disabled) cardholders will be able to enjoy free entry. Halls are open from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm on both days. Visitors can also opt for the Valet VIP Parking Ticket. For RM30.00 (cash or QR only on the day), visitors can park their cars at Ground Level in Hall D and it is valid for 1-day entry.
