New Isuzu 3S Centre opens in KL city

Quick look

  • Operated by Autoexec Corporation, the new outlet offers a full range of services for customer convenience and handles all Isuzu models.

  • For now, this latest opening completes the brand’s current network expansion strategy for the WP Kuala Lumpur.

Pick-up trucks used to be workhorse machines used by businesses for rough work, mainly off-road or on construction sites. They were therefore not usually displayed in showrooms in cities or positioned out of sight.

Change in truck usage
Today, it’s different as the truck is no longer considered just a workhorse. Since the late 1990s, trucks in Malaysia have become alternatives to passenger cars and used for daily transport in urban areas. This change has led to trucks being displayed alongside passenger cars and SUVs in showrooms, even in cities.

Isuzu Malaysia’s popular D-MAX truck is therefore prominently seen in urban showrooms and one of the new locations is along Jalan Tun Razak in Kuala Lumpur. This is at the new 3S centre located close to the World Trade Centre and operated by Autoexec Corporation, an authorised Isuzu dealer.

From 1S to 3S
Autoexec originally had a 1S outlet (showroom only) along Jalan Semarak but this was obviously inadequate and furthermore, when customers required aftersales support, they had to go to another location. The move to Jalan Tun Razak also places the Isuzu brand in a more visible position for the high-volume traffic flow.

With the new outlet being 3S, sales, aftersales services and spare parts are all in one location. The new facility offers the full range of services for all Isuzu products, so those who operate light commercial vehicles can also obtain aftersales service there.

By integrating sales, service, and spare parts under one roof, the facility aims to streamline the ownership experience for owners. The inclusion of on-site diagnostic tools and a dedicated spare parts inventory will minimize downtime for commercial vehicle operators who rely on their vehicles for daily operations.

Isuzu Corporate Identity
The design and layout of the new 3S centre follows Isuzu’s updated global Corporate Identity, emphasizing a more modern aesthetic for urban buyers.

Latest D-MAX with new 2.2-litre turbodiesel engine will be among the models on display in the showroom.

Inside, there are specific zones for vehicle displays, a delivery bay for deliveries to new owners, and a customer lounge area.

“The opening of this new Isuzu 3S Centre with the latest corporate identity, situated close to the heart of Kuala Lumpur can be expected to improve Isuzu’s presence and increase interest in our range of products that have particular appeal for urban users,” said Isuzu Malaysia’s CEO, Tomoyuki Yamaguchi. He added that this latest opening completes the brand’s current network expansion strategy for the WP Kuala Lumpur.
