Owners of Proton vehicles that are affected by floods will be pleased to know that the company that made the vehicles is offering assistance for repairs. Between now and May 31, 2026, PROTON will have a Flood Relief Program to support owners whose vehicles were impacted by the recent floods in various parts of the country.

The program is supported by authorised Proton Service Centres and Body & Paint outlets nationwide. Under this program, vehicles covered by the Proton Insurance Programme (PIP) will receive:
- 50% discount on selected parts for Persona, Iriz, Exora, and Saga models
- 25% discount on selected parts for X models and S70
- 25% discount on labour for all models

Customers without PIP will still enjoy discounts as follow:
- 30% discount on selected parts for PIES models
- 15% discount on selected parts for X models and S70
- 25% discount on labour for all models
“Flood damage is disruptive and often unexpected, and many owners need fast, reliable support to get their vehicles back on the road. The 2025 PROTON Flood Relief Program aims to give immediate financial relief and professional assistance, ensuring our customers have a clear, dependable pathway to repair their cars during this monsoon season.” said Dato’ Abdul Rashid Musa, Deputy CEO of PROTON.
Dato’ Abdul Rashid also advised owners whose vehicles have been affected by flooding to visit the nearest authorised Proton service centre when conditions are safe for travel. Trained technicians will carry out inspections and provide repair recommendations based on the program structure.
