Ford Ranger Raptor Sport available in limited numbers

Sime Darby Auto ConneXion-Ford has introduced the new Ford Ranger Raptor Sport 3.0, the latest variant of the Ranger Raptor which has been in the Malaysian market for 3 years.

Available in limited numbers and only in Arctic White and Meteor Grey, the Raptor Sport is priced from RM273,888 (on-the-road without insurance in Peninsular Malaysia). Each unit comes with a 5-year factory warranty and a free service package for the first 2 years. Customers will also receive an exclusive ‘Live The Ranger Life’ cooler bag as a delivery gift.

The new Raptor Sport comes with a powerful 3.0-litre twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 petrol powertrain, specially tuned by Ford Performance to deliver up to 397 ps/583 Nm (at just 3,500 rpm). As before, there are also standard FOX 2.5-inch Live Valve Internal Bypass shock absorbers with race-proven Bottom-Out Control for superior off-road performance.

Adding to its appeal are beadlock style wheels, engineered with threaded holes to accommodate true beadlock rings for serious off-roading. For everyday driving, they are fitted with stylish ‘beauty rings’. The design allows owners to install beadlock rings, purchased separately, to safely run low tyre pressures for enhanced traction and control on rugged terrain.

Reflecting the Ford Performance DNA, the latest Raptor Sport has a new special Raptor decal design and a newly added Sport Hoop, enhancing its sporty, off-road looks.
