Being the most developed area in Malaysia with a quarter of the country’s 36 million population, the Klang Valley (which comprises Selangor and WP Kuala Lumpur) also has the largest percentage of new vehicle sales and ownership.
As such, car companies have set up many branches and appointed dealerships in the region. And with the opening of more housing estates, there is also a need to position sales and service outlets in new locations.
Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) has increased its outlets in the Klang Valley to 19, with the opening of one to the western side in Teluk Panglima Garang near Klang and the other in Kajang to the south. Both are 3S centres which offer the full range of sales and aftersales services, including spare parts.
The outlet in Teluk Panglima Garang is the third one operated by MN Wheels. The dealership has been associated with the Mitsubishi Motors brand since 2020, starting in Kuala Selangor and then opening another outlet in Bukit Raja.
As for the outlet in Kajang, often associated with satay, the dealership is Millennium Autohaus Sdn Bhd. Located along busy Jalan Semenyih, the new outlet is the second one for Millennium Autohaus, with the first being in Kota Damansara which has been operating for almost 4 years.
