After a slight dip in 2024, PROTON stormed through 2025 to outperform a cooling automotive market. While the total volume of new vehicle sales is estimated to be 0.2% lower than the 2024 volume, the Malaysian automaker reports overall growth of 3.3% to close with 157,976 units for 2025.

Like a number of other brands, Proton (and its Proton e.MAS New Energy Vehicle brand) had a busy year with a number of new models launched, which undoubtedly drew more buyers to showrooms.
